Shirley is a long time Yukoner living on the Hot Springs Road. Along with raising her two children, she has been active in assisting the managing of her family’s farm and construction business. Shirley is also currently serving as a member of the Yukon Fish and Wildlife Management Board and is the Chair of the Yukon Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Trust.

Treasurer ~ Linda Hillier

Linda is a lifelong Yukoner who has spent much time living and working in rural Yukon and now lives in Whitehorse. Linda has previously worked in government and the aviation field, and is now a partner in a local business, Computerisms. She recently went back to school and completed a certificate in Information Technology, graduating with honours. In her spare time Linda enjoys reading, playing softball and spending time with her family, friends and pets.

Treasurer ~ Yvonne Clarke

Yvonne immigrated to Canada in 1995 from the Philippines. She has made her home in Yukon ever since. She has been a business owner in Whitehorse, and is currently employed in the Yukon public service. Besides working full-time, and raising three children, Yvonne has been an active volunteer. She has been a director of the Yukon Public Legal Education Association. She has been a director of the Yukon Learn Society. She is best known for her involvement with the Canadian-Filipino Society of the Yukon (“CFAY”) as its president for 14 years. Yvonne lives in Hidden Valley with her husband, Peter. Two out of three children have left the nest.

Martin came to the Yukon in 2003, after having spent several years in Calgary and growing up in Halifax. Martin has worked at NorthwesTel Wireless, and is currently a business owner in Whitehorse as a major shareholder in the Iditarod Group, which owns several service sector businesses. He also works for the Yukon Council on disABILITY, where he helps clients learn to use computers and upgrade their skills, in preparation for the workforce. Martin lives with his wife Kate and enjoys spending time in the Yukon’s outdoors.

Krysta was born and raised in the Yukon and became politically active as a young teenager. After graduation from FH Collins, Krysta pursued her post-secondary education in Alberta, where she trained in apiculture, welding, and industrial non-destructive testing. As an oilfield radigrapher, Krysta worked for a half-decade in northern Alberta before returning home to the Yukon in 2008. Krysta presently resides in the Takhini – Kopper King constituency with her two young daughters and works in the printing industry.

Immediate Past President ~ Jonas Smith

Jonas moved to Whitehorse from Calgary in 1999, following in his family’s footsteps. His grandfather served with the Canadian Military in Whitehorse in the 1940s-50s when they took over maintenance of the Alaska Highway. This foray resulted in the birth of Jonas’ father, who then returned with Jonas’ mother-to-be for a stint in the 1960s-70s. Jonas however is here to stay, residing on an acreage in the Hot Springs area, and is an avid outdoorsman with a chronic case of the “fishing disease”, an affliction he shares with partner Erika.
